Zenith Marine Services and their apprentice both win prestigious awards…

Jack Pearce, one of our 2021-22 sponsored Boatbuilder apprentices, employed at Zenith Marine Services in Plymouth, recently won second place (Highly Commended) in the ‘Marine Apprentice of the Year’ category at the South Devon College  ‘Apprenticeship Awards’ annual event. Zenith won ‘Best New Employer’ of the year. A fantastic result for both Jack and the company – and very much deserved!

Jack has really made his mark and impressed everyone since commencing his apprenticeship at Zenith. He is an outstanding Yacht Maintenance Operative in the making. Josh Langford, Managing Director and Jack’s line manager recently said: “The knowledge and skills Jack is learning on his apprenticeship has been a fantastic investment for Zenith – I think we’d be lost without him, and if we could guarantee another Jack, I think we’d sign up another apprentice tomorrow”.
