Letter from an apprentice alumnus in thanks!
This week we received a lovely message of gratitude from one of our most outstandingly talented apprentices that we have ever sponsored via our Apprenticeship Scheme – Toby Poultney, who hails from the heart of Boatbuilding country – Cornwall. Toby has now successfully passed his End Point Assessment and therefore completed his level 3 apprenticeship in Boatbuilding. Toby is now fully equipped to embark on a very successful career in the Boatbuilding industry. Toby told us:
“I wanted to thank you all for your continued support and wonderful advice through, what has been, a very bumpy ride for me, at times, over the past 3 to 4 years!
Without the Shipwrights Company support I wouldn’t have been able to complete my apprenticeship and to consider boat building as a career. I really am extremely grateful for everything you have been able to donate to me, be that: time, emails, phone calls, social media posts and financial aid! I feel truly honoured and I hope I can be a custodian for the Shipwrights, which I hold in such high regard.
Once again thank you and I’ll keep you updated on what lies ahead.”
And thank you Toby and all the very best for the future!
