MACS Focus on Funding

Emily Murphy, the Trusts, Foundations and Corporate Fundraiser at MACS Charity (Microphthalmia, Anophthalmia & Coloboma Support),  has sent the following message to the Shipwrights’ Company.

As a refreshing stray from the norm, this is not a request for support. Instead, I’d like to take this opportunity to offer a sincere thank you. This year, thanks to you and the support of The Worshipful Company of Shipwrights, we’ve seen lives change for the better, and that’s something worth celebrating!

Your generosity has been a cornerstone of our work, and your belief in the MACS community has made all the difference. You’re not just a grant maker – you’re a vital partner in the positive transformations that are happening every day. Your support is a powerful reminder of how, together, we can achieve great things.

As we near the close of 2024 and reflect on the impact of the year, we’re excited to share the tangible results of your contribution. Your funding has allowed us to push forward with our mission, bringing new opportunities to those who need it most. To give you a glimpse of the change you’ve helped make possible, I’m delighted to attach our Focus on Funding newsletter, which highlights the real-world effects of your support. Looking back while compiling this update, it’s clear that we’ve achieved so much – and this success is undoubtedly thanks to the incredible support we’ve received from our grant-making community.

We take pride in being able to share these stories with all our valued funders, regardless of when the funding was received and what it was for.
